This will help protect your battery while charging and automatically turn off your charger when properly installed. Includes a preconfigured wiring harness for your car. All systems are preconfigured and tested on a Lonestar battery before being shipped out!

MLe Race Cars and AEMev have worked together to provide a preprogrammed BMS for Jr Dragsters. This system can be used with the MLe Race Cars battery systems, or it can be retrofitted onto existing EV Jr Dragsters.
The retrofit kit, seen here, comes prewired to plug into the DB37 connector provided with the standard Jr Dragster battery. Every system will be assembled and pretested at MLe’s facility to ensure proper operation.

This is our flagship BMS system! This system integrates AEM’s logger dash to allow for datalogging of cell voltages and temperatures (if applicable) during the run. Giving you the ability to review cell data and look for outlying cells, providing you the ultimate in battery safety information!
Plus, you don’t need a PC to monitor cell voltages during charging and you can quickly monitor voltages even in the staging lanes to ensure the safety of your driver/car before the run!
When used with MLe’s battery system, the bracket to the battery provides offboard charging with FULL BMS SAFETY functionality.

This is the little brother to MLe’s 144V Jr Dragster battery system. Why pay for a full-size pack when all the power you need for younger drivers can be had at about half the price? Batteries DO have a lifespan, so why buy more than you need just to replace them as your driver ages up to higher performance?

This is a cable replacement for Jr Dragsters that have an inadequate rating on the main (HV) battery cable.
On the vehicle we added our battery to (seen here), we found battery cable with the following SAE rating: SGR SAE J1127. This rating is for 60Vdc applications. Cables with the rating SGT SAE J1127 are rated for 600Vdc, but those cables should have “600V” printed on the jacket.
VEHCILES WITH HV CABLE INSULATION RATING OF 60Vdc SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN.
We have built a retrofit cable kit for people who have the incorrect cable on their vehicles.
This cable retrofit kit is available pre-terminated with our recommended Amphenol “finger-safe” connector or as bare leads on the battery cable ends (MLe will not terminate this to non-finger-safe terminals).
